Travelogue for Trumpet, concert for trumpet by Kim Scharnberg

Travelogue for Trumpet, concerto for trumpet by Kim Scharnberg is a wild ride!  Written for Burnette Dillon, and recorded by Dillon (see the web page for links to all three recorded movements), this concerto features the use of a different instrument within the umbrella of instruments trumpeters play:  C Trumpet in the first movement, Flugelhorn in the second movement, and Piccolo trumpet in A and Bb trumpet in the third movement.  Not simply challenging, but fun!!  Have a listen and decide for yourself.

The ensemble accompaniment is currently available for concert orchestra, chamber orchestra, or concert band.
