This piece is scored for 8 trombones (6 tenor 2 bass) and was premiered July 14, 2022. It is written for teh composer's grandmother, Guadelupe Alverado, who passed away in February of 2022. It was written for her funeral and paints the picture of a bittersweet sunset, making extensive use of plagal cadences towards the end.
