The 18 etudes in this book are geared for intermediate horn students and are arranged in progressive order through the grade 3 and 4 range. They are designed to help students gain fluency when playing music written in a mainstream contemporary idiom but do not introduce any avant-garde or atonal techniques, which would be more appropriate for advanced students.
