​Greg Danner is Professor Emeritus of Music at Tennessee Tech University and Visiting Professor of Horn at The University of the South (Sewanee). He has held positions with the Baton Rouge and Acadiana orchestras in Louisiana, the Huntsville (AL) Symphony, the Bowling Green (KY) Chamber Orchestra, Lake Charles and Rapides orchestras in Louisiana and the Saint Louis Symphony and Webster Groves orchestras in Missouri.

Danner is currently hornist with the Brass Arts Quintet, Bryan Symphony Orchestra, Tennessee Philharmonic, and Sewanee Symphony Orchestra. He has performed on alto horn with the Jack Daniels Silver Cornet Band and the Southern Stars Symphonic Brass Band. He has worked as a session player in Nashville, recording for publishing companies and on soundtracks for movies and video games.
