Maiden Voyage, for low horn and piano
by Jacob White
$21
Maiden Voyage, for low horn and piano, depicts the initial journey of a ship across the unpredictable waters of the open ocean. The piece begins with a fanfare to announce the departure of the ship. The ship embarks on a journey across the open ocean, encountering calm waters, rough waves, the eye of a storm, clear skies, and a safe return to port. Each section is short, showing the unpredictability of the open ocean and how unforgiving it may be.
