Thirty Melodic Etudes for Low Euphonium
by Kyle Millsap and Jesus Mendoza Espinoza
$21
"The low register
Compared to its fellow brass instruments, the euphonium has the most expansive low register. The role
the instrument has historically played has been focused in the bass clef staff, serving as the baritone voice
of the brass family. Not enough time is devoted to improving technique, style, and musicality in the
average euphonium student’s low register studies. While there are a few trombone etude books that
address the low register specifically, this EUPHONIUM book provides a wide scope of styles, key areas,
and expressively musical etudes, something that is often lacking in euphonium low register playing."
